What is the Magee-Womens Summit?

The Magee-Womens Summit is a triannual conference focused on women’s health, hosted by Magee-Womens Research Institute & Foundation. Join the world’s top research scientists, clinicians, hospital administrators, and industry experts for two days of talks in the growing field of women’s health. Experts in reproductive biology, the environment, microbiome, and early human development will join policymakers and public health advocates to exchange ideas that will bring women’s health research to the forefront of scientific inquiry.

 

When is the Magee-Womens Summit?

The Magee-Womens Summit will be held in person on November 13-14, 2024, in Pittsburgh, PA and virtually on Zoom.

 

Where will the Magee-Womens Summit be held?

The Magee-Womens Summit will be held at The Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel in the heart of Station Square.

REGISTRATION

How do I register?

We’re so excited you’re interested in attending! If you’d like to receive an email invitation to the Magee-Womens Summit, fill out our contact form at MageeSummit.org/Contact. Once we receive your form, we’ll send you an invitation to register with your unique link from Zoom.

 

For general admission pricing, visit MageeSummit.org and click the “Registration” tab to register on our Zoom Events platform.

 

I already have a Zoom account, but it’s a different email than the one that received the registration invitation.  Which should I use for registration?

If you have an email with an account in Zoom, but we sent the invite for the Magee-Womens Summit to a different email, please reach out to info@mageesummit.org and let us know.  We’ll update your ticket to match the email that you have the Zoom account with, so you can register.

 

If you already registered with the email that doesn’t have the Zoom account, you’ll need to create an event profile with the email you registered with to participate in the virtual event and networking features.

 

Can I forward my invitation to the Magee-Womens Summit?

Every registration link is unique to your email. Direct colleagues to fill out our contact form at MageeSummit.org/Contact for their unique link from Zoom to register.

 

Are there promo codes for the Magee-Womens Summit?

Unfortunately, Zoom does not support promo codes. Therefore, all prices are predetermined.

 

How do refunds work?

We offer refunds up to one hour before the event starts. If you need a refund, please reach out via email to info@mageesummit.org with your name and registration confirmation number.

 

ZOOM

Is the Magee-Womens Summit being recorded?

Yes, all general sessions and breakout sessions will be recorded, so that you may watch them at your convenience after the Summit. They will be available to all registrants after the event.

 

If you aren’t able to attend the conference, you’ll be able to purchase the recordings after the conference.

 

Is closed captioning offered?

Yes, all plenary and breakout workshops will be closed captioned. Networking sessions will have limited captions available.

 

Can I network and chat with other attendees on Zoom?

Yes! You can use the Lobby and networking chat to connect with other attendees and our exhibitors before and during the conference.

 

To use the networking chat, attendees must complete an events profile in Zoom. This does not require a Zoom account, but a profile is needed to participate in networking. Even with the profile, attendees can set themselves as hidden, so they are not seen.

 

Please note, the Lobby chat is intentionally turned off until the event. Lobby chat does not require an events account.

 

What do the networking statuses mean in Zoom?

Feeling Social: Open to meeting others, I'm actively meeting others and my profile will be highlighted in green.

 

Simply Exploring: Open to meeting others, I encourage others to reach out and my profile will not be highlighted in green.

 

Hide Me: Hide my profile, my profile will not be shown in the event, but I can still participate in chat.
